Got takeout during the pandemic. Food was great; as usual!

The food is amazing ! The bruschetta was delicious but has bacon so not vegetarian. The lobster entree was indescribably good. Even though we split the appetizer we unfortunately had no room for dessert. It's a little far but try to get here every few months. Always a great meal !

Amazing farm to table BYOB. Definitely deserves the title of best BYOB in Chester County. Every appetizer and every entree was fully enjoyed by my party of five. Dessert was incredible! Love the fact that it's BYOB. Definitely recommend to all foodies in the county!

Beautiful dining experience. Attentive, friendly service with flavorful, unique cuisine. I loved the amuse bouche and the limoncello as intriguing accents on a wonderful meal.

Good food, menu changes for the season. I like that they are willing to try stuff. Perfect for Downingtown.

Amazing food, with great service. I would highly recommend for a date night location. The Bolognese was amazing. The shrimp and butternut squash was interesting twist on a southern classic.

OmiGOD! I lived in Paris for 5 months, but Chef Jonathan's Jail Island Salmon w/Pomegranate Gastrique, hazelnut crust & celery root purée was the BEST I've EVER had!! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his NY Strip Steak very fresh and RARE -and the Chocolate Tart was a Heavenly delight!! Give this place some Michelin Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place to eat and good service. The food has very complex flavors and was very fresh. I would definately come back again. I rated only 4 stars because the food is not child friendly but the restaurant does offer a high chair. I'm not sure how anyone in a wheelchair would get in the restaurant. Overall perfect for couples and small parties, not good for children and the handicap.

The food was pretty good. Definitely a “fancier” place than anything in the area. I had the duck and pork belly poutine special for an appetizer. It was good, but the pork belly was not as crispy as it should be. Overall it was also a bit to salty. The “cheese curd” was just mozzarella. Still tasted good though. For dinner I had a Ny strip steak with mushrooms and peppers. The sides were good, but the steak was a bit undercooked. I ordered it medium rare and it came back quite rare. The grilled flavor was fantastic though, nice and Smokey. The deserts were okay. I hoped for better, but there is only so much that you can get from a place that only seats like 20 or so. The prices were high, 3 meals2 apps and 3 deserts for 160$. That’s not out of the ordinary for fine dining, but it seemed high for here. The wait staff and hostesses were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely consider going back.

Amani's is amazing!! The husband and I went out for our monthly rendezvous (we like to pretend we're food critics), and were delighted by this place! The service was on point, and the food was out of this world. We've been to many places during our Chester County Restaurant Tour (we need a life), and so far this our favorite spot. Highly recommend!

I took my wife here for a last minute birthday dinner. For appetizer we got the Caribbean Chowder and Braised pork belly. We enjoyed the unique flavor of each dishes. I ordered the Lobster Shepherd's Pie and my wife got the Crab Cakes. We were not impressed with the dishes. The lobster and potatoes in my dish were on the dry side. It did not taste like a $30+ entree. The crab cakes lack meaty crab flavor. The waitress was nice and thoughtful with taking our orders. They did not have a kids menu but she was accommodating and my girls got burgers and fries which were not on the menu. I wished I could rave about this but they were undercooked. Somehow medium became medium rare burgers. If only the entree could be as good as the appetizers especially for the price paid.

Wonderful, innovative menu for special occasions, or foodies. Two of tonight's entrees featured ramps! Looking forward to our next meal here. Appreciate the BYOB, as we have some unusual wines that would pair well with this boutique menu. Kudos to the entire staff who made two people with no reservations feel very special.

Wow, the food here is absolutely amazing. I have been here numerous times and every time has been great. I would love to sit here and recommend some things, but the reality is everything has exceeded expectations. The service is great and the byob experience with the option for mixers for your drinks offers quite the variation. Give it a try, you will not be upset.

The place is awesome and broad, the food was delicious and the prices were very fair. fast, productive service and very friendly staff members. Will definitely recommend this place.

One of my favorite restaurants in Downingtown PA! My wife and I had our 15th anniversary dinner at Amani's. The setting is intimate and you can watch the chef cook from your table. It is often hard to find good sea food especially coming from the coastal area of NC. The chef at Armani's prepared our meals perfectly and the wait staff were great. Highly recommend it for special occasions!

This place is byob, they will take your alcohol and keep it cold for you as you enjoy their menu. This place is not exactly kid friendly as I did not notice a kids menu. The food is delicious and the variety on the menu is just as appealing as the food. If you are looking for a nice romantic place to take your significant other this place is one of the spots in Chester county I would recommend. I had the duck when i went and it was full of flavor, the grits were sweet. Definitely a place I will be visiting next time I am in the Chester County area.

Amani’s has the best food in town. The chef is an artist. We ordered takeout during the pandemic and it was absolutely phenomenal. It’s expensive but worth the cost if you have the money to spend.

The staff is kind and welcoming. Our server was informative about each menu item. The food was very well made.

One of our favorite places to have dinner in the burbs. I would describe the food as upscale comfort food. They change the menu on a regular basis, so there is some good variety. They also have s really good a la cart brunch on the weekends. We usually as for Rick as our wait staff representative. John is also a very hands on owner/chef.

My husband and I love Amani's. The food is amazing as well as the service. We always end up ordering the specials and they do not disappoint.

Expensive, but big portions, fresh, delicious, and the waiter was attentive. Good for dates, I bet. I went with my Mom and brother.

We've been going to Amani's since they opened. They offer solid dishes - made fresh from local ingredients - and good service. Great for a foodie, or for a neighborhood gem! Super accommodating with food allergies :)

Delicious as always! I never had a bad experience here with the staff nor the food, it's always perfect. My wife and I love it, definitely our favorite local spot!

This is our favorite local date night place. The food is absolutely wonderful as is the staff. I would highly recommend having a reservation. We love bringing our own wine/liquor. We are always excited to go back and love the seasonal menus. We hope this place is around a long time.

Such great service and atmosphere! And the food, wow!

This was my first time visiting and the food was phenomenal, that were very friendly, but unfortunately the service had extreme difficulty keeping up with how busy they were which I suppose is a good problem to have. We dined in but the food took very long to come out, several items had to be ordered multiple times just to get them and still not everything came out that we ordered and the whole process took close to two hours. It was the weekend and they were busy, but not overwhelmingly busy. I'm happy that they are getting business because the food is wonderful, but I'll most likely only get takeout for the foreseeable future, at least on weekends.

Good food, service was only okay. Will go back for their summer menu... Hoping they treat allergies more responsibly next time.

Made a reservation through Open Table for 3 people at 6:30 pm. They called the morning of the reservation to verify and I changed our reservation to 5 people at 6:30. We were running a bit late that evening so I called to say we were going to be a bit late and that 2 people couldn’t make it and could they accommodate us at 7 pm for 3 people. The girl said that they could accommodate the change of 5 people to 7 pm put could not make the change to 7pm for 3 people. Ridiculous. We cancelled. They called back 30 minutes later to say they could. Again ridiculous. Restaurants are a dime a dozen around here.

We have had to many to account amazing meals at Amani’s. Tasteful, creative and simply delicious. With the situation we are all in, we took a family meal home and it did not disappoint. Once again... even with take home... tremendous. Will be taking advantage of their take out / delivery options as often as possible. You should too!!!

So worth going!! It's a bit pricey but every bit worth the cost. If you're vegan, just ask the for the Chef's vegan meal - they'll ask you if there's anything you dislike and then create a vegan meal just for you! A delicious surprise with every visit. Just make sure you bring your own drinks or spirits for mixers...BYOB doesn't just mean you CAN bring your own, it means you MUST if you want a drink. They have great mixers though so just bring a small bit of whichever spirit you want

I had the squid slugs and short ribs. Food was tasty, timely, and delivered with a smile. Well be back

I'm giving them four star review because I've been there before, and they are capable of five stars. My experience is likely due to bad specials. However, this really should be a 3.5 star at best.Service and ambiance - ExcellentFirst courses - Scallop special (Bland and charred, not good). Spring rolls (Good flavor, crispy).Entree - Tuna special (Flavorless, not good at all).Dessert - Candied bacon, corn bread, bread pudding with bourbon maple sauce (Top 10 best dessert of my life).The regular entrees and appetizers are all very good. I took a gamble with a couple specials, and they were not good. I'll be back.
